７月の福島・第二弾① the Second of Fukushima in July ①

梅雨に戻ったかのような天気が続いています。

みなさまいかがお過ごしでしょうか。

骨の折れる英文作成から逃げていましたが、

先週また福島に行ってきたので、

その時の様子をお届けするため、またパソコンに向かっています。

下手な英文、ごめんなさい。がんばります。

今回はたくさん写真を撮ってきたので、

何回かに分けて綴っていく予定です。

どうぞお時間あれば、おつき合いください。

We have cloudy, rainy and cold days like rainy season these days.

How are you getting along?
I avoided writing English because it's painstaking work for me,
but I went to Fukushima last week and
want to tell you about the story.
So, I'm sitting in front of my PC to write this.
I'm sorry about my poor English. GANBARIMASU.
As I took many pictures in Fukushima this time,
they are expected to be uploaded several times.
If you have time, please take a look at them.

 高速の１０００円割引が終わってしまったので、

４号線も併用して片道４時間かけて、福島に向かいます。

道中、景色の良い所を快適にドライブできるので、

しかも運転も姉と交代しながらなので、

意外と４時間もあっという間に感じます。

写真に写っているのはあぶくま高原道路（そしてエルモ）。

全線開通後にあの地震に襲われたため、

今も所々修理工事が終わらず、ひどい凹凸をみせています。

The discount fare of expressway ended last month,
so we (me and my sister) use Tohoku expressway
together with route 4 to get to Fukushima
taking 4 hours from Saitama.
On our way to Fukushima,
we can drive by turns and comfortably
having a splended view from a car.
So I feel 4 hours pass quickly.
This picture is Abukuma highland road (and Elmo).
After all routes opened,
this road had been really damaged by
the great earthquake and
the repair have not been finished yet.
The surface of the road is uneven still now.

  

 朝に出発してお昼に到着。

元気な両親の姿にホッとしてから、みんなで昼食。

行きつけのラーメン屋さんです。

手作りチャーシューと半熟玉子が絶妙な一品。

We left Saitama at morning and
got to Ono town in Fukushima at noon.
When I met my parents,
I felt relieved at their cheerful face.
Then we went to our favorite ramen shop for lunch.
Handmade tya-shu (roast pork) and
a soft-boiled egg are perfect. 

平田の道の駅でソフトクリーム。

ここのは本当においしくて、福島に来ると必ず食べる。

最近ソフトクリーム売り場が独立して、

種類が増えたようだ。

えごまのソフトはまえからあったけど、

この日初めてアスパラのソフトを目にする。

その姿にびっくりおののいた。

薄緑色のソフトに、アスパラが１本突き刺さっているんです。

あれは生のアスパラなのか何なのか・・・。

家族４人で食べている人がいて、

うちの母が「写真撮らせてもらいなよ!」と

私に勧めてきたけれど、

いやぁ・・・できませんでした。

では次回自分が食べて・・・・・・ん、無理。

ごめんなさい。

Soft ice cream at Hirata "Michi no Eki"

(Station of Road. It's like a marketplace.

Many local goods, vegetables and fruits are sold.

Michi no Eki is also popular as a tourist spot.)

This soft ice cream is really good.

I always eat it when I come here.

 The soft ice cream shop was built recently

and the variety of ice cream increased.

I knew Egoma (a kind of sesami...maybe) soft ice cream,

but green asparagus taste was first time I heard.

The appearance is amusing.

An asparagus is thrusted into light green soft ice cream.

I couldn't understand whether it is a real fresh asparagus or not.

A 4 people family were there and

everyone ate the ice cream.

So my mother said to me,

"why don't you ask them if you take a picture of their ice creams?"

But......I couldn't.

Well, then, next time I'll eat ... Nah, impossible.

I'm so sorry.

７月２４日、小野町では今があじさいの満開時期。

町のあちこちできれいに咲くあじさいを見かけた。

24, July.

In Ono town, now is the best season for hydrangea.

I saw many hygrangeas blooming beautifully

here and there at this town.

 玄関に通じる坂道に、父が竹塀を作製中。

お隣さんが山を所有していて、

父が竹塀をつくるんだと話したら、

「うちの山からとってきな～」と言ってくれたらしい。

それでいそいそと竹を取りに行った父、

その山で道に迷い、プチパニック。

そのうちズササ―ッと知り合いの家裏に落ちたそうな。

で、その家の犬にわんわんぎゃんぎゃん吠えられながら、

素知らぬ顔して家の中の人に会釈し、

庭を抜けて無事帰宅したらしい。

父よ・・・。

My father is making bamboo fence

along the slope leads to the porch.

The next-door neighbor have a mountain,

and he told her about his plan of making a fence,

then she said he can take bamboos from her mountain.

So my father went out cheerfully,

but he got lost and panicked.

Before long, he fell down at the back of

an aquaintance's house

and, as if nothing happened,

nodded to someone in the house,

and passed a barking dog and the garden.
